The Lardimalie Wine Museum
An original museum situated in a turn-of-the-century wine production plant. In their original environment, discover the machines and tools of vintagers, cellarmen and coopers, to better understand the production of wine and its development. Visit the spectacular central tank room, spanning two levels and unchanged since its beginnings. The museum also recounts the surprising destiny of the plant's builder, J.H. Sécrestat, the creator of Bitter Sécrestat and Toni Cola, products which made him a fortune and were sold the world over. Features a discovery program for children. Acces to persons with limited mobility. Tarif: 5 Euors, free for children under 5, reductions for families and groups. The visit lasts 45 minutes to 1 hour. Opening hours in 2010 : 17-30 April: every day from 3 pm to 6 pm.
May 1st to 31st and et September 15th to October 31: Saturdays from 10 am to 12 am and 3 pm to 6 pm, Sunday from 3 pm to 6 pm.
On the 1st and 8th of May, Thursday and Friday of Ascension, Monday of the Pentecost and the 1st of November, open from 10 am to 12 am and 3 pm to 6 pm. From the 1st to the 30th of June and from the 1st to the 15th of September, from Tuesday to Sunday from 3 pm to 6 pm. From the 1st to the 31st of August, from Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 12 am and from 3 pm to 6 pm, Sunday from 3 pm to 6 pm. Reservations taken from April 15th to October 31st for groups.
